Es ahora una zona extensa de vivienda social y arquitectura brutalista, construida a partir de finales de la d\u00e9cada de los sesenta. Thamesmead se pens\u00f3 como \u201cuna ciudad del ma\u00f1ana\u201d, un proyecto social y arquitect\u00f3nico con un componente ut\u00f3pico y futur\u00edsta avanzado para la \u00e9poca.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Tastes of Thamesmead es un proyecto art\u00edstico-social de Hannah Ringham y\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/floroazqueta.com\/es\"><span class=\"s2\">Floro Azqueta<\/span><\/a>\u00a0con el soporte de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thamesmeadcommunityarchive.org.uk\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Peabody Trust<\/span><\/a>\u00a0y\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.heritagefund.org.uk\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Heritage Lottery fund<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Como parte del proyecto, junto con los residentes, hemos creado el libro Tastes of Thamesmead Cookbook, una muestra del rico y diverso patrimonio culinario que vive y ha vivido en Thamesmead. Desde que se construy\u00f3 en 1968, los residentes de Thamesmead han visto muchos cambios en la arquitectura y en su comunidad, y eso se refleja en las historias en torno a la comida y las recetas que hemos recolectado para el libro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Las recetas del libro reflejan el gran talento existente en Thamesmead y la alegr\u00eda que desprende la gente compartiendo sus historias y recetas. Hemos elegido 10 personas de diferentes or\u00edgenes con 10 recetas que reflejan la multiculturalidad de Thamesmead. Primero, puedes leer la historia de la receta y su relaci\u00f3n con la persona y Thamesmead, y a su lado el retrato de la persona. En la siguiente p\u00e1gina, encuentras los ingredientes y la receta, y a su lado la fotograf\u00eda de la elaboraci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Otro aspecto del libro es el paisaje de Thamesmead,con sus parques, canales y lago, junto a su arquitectura brutalista.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">El libro ha sido dise\u00f1ado con mucho cuidado por\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/estudioprimo.com\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Estudio Prim<\/span><\/a>o. Y las recetas han sido preparadas por la estilista en alimentaci\u00f3n\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/valerieberry.com\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Valerie Berry<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Tastes of Thamesmead Cookbook forma parte de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thamesmeadcommunityarchive.org.uk\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Thamesmead Community Archive<\/span><\/a>, un proyecto que empez\u00f3 en 2018, impulsado por residentes para celebrar el 50 aniversario de Thamesmead. En el archivo se encuentran cientos de documentos, desde los ic\u00f3nicos materiales de marketing de los principios de los 70 hasta fotograf\u00edas personales y memorias de la gente de Thamesmead. Una versi\u00f3n digital del libro est\u00e1 disponible en\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thamesmeadcommunityarchive.org.uk\/explore\/tastes-of-thamesmead\"><span class=\"s2\">Thamesmead Community Archive<\/span><\/a>. Adem\u00e1s, en este sitio la gente puede colgar sus historias y recetas, y sumarse tambi\u00e9n a Tastes of Thamesmead. Podr\u00eda ser cualquiera de tus recetas favoritas o quiz\u00e1s de tus padres, una foto de la elaboraci\u00f3n, o comiendo, o un trozo de papel con la receta escrita.<\/span><\/p>\n<p
